This outreach website is NOT G-Rated as we offer it as a venue where victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse can write about their experiences and journeys. Broken to Beautiful is an outreach of Roses and Teacups, "A Garden of Gifts for Giving Hearts." The sale of our broken china jewelry and angel ornaments helps us to fund this program. Broken to Beautiful began when the owners of Roses and Teacups, Nancy Guenther and Julie Wilson, fell in love with angel ornaments and jewelry made from pieces of broken china. They believe that the phrase, "Broken to Beautiful," was an inspired phrase leading them to compare the transformation of broken china into creations of beauty to the transformation of women who are mentally, physically, and spiritually broken into the creations they were meant to be. Both Nancy and Julie feel passionately about helping other women, and both of them are familiar with the pain of domestic violence.
Dear T & T, You know who you are and what happened to you. We believe in you. What happened to you is an attack on all women. Whatever happens in court, we know the truth and you know the truth and God knows the truth. You are being prayed for, and virtual hugs are coming your way! Broken to Beautiful You see yourself as broken;
Broken to Beautiful is an outreach offering resources, encouragement and opportunities to women affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse. It is defined in the Law Dictionary at law.com as: "The continuing crime and problem of the physical beating of a wife, girlfriend or children, usually by the woman's male partner (although it can also be female violence against a male). It is now recognized as an antisocial mental illness. Sometimes a woman's dependence, low self-esteem and fear of leaving cause her to endure this conduct or fail to protect a child. Prosecutors and police often face the problem that a battered woman will not press charges or testify due to fear, intimidation and misplaced "love." Increasingly domestic violence is attracting the sympathetic attention of law enforcement, the courts and community services, including shelters and protection for those in danger."

You are most welcome to donate to Broken to Beautiful. These funds will go to fees for the website and materials used to get the word out. All work on this outreach is done by volunteers.
Julie: Why can't we call it, "A Refuge for Women on their Journey..." Nancy: Because it isn't a refuge, Honey; we can't keep them safe. I wish we could put all the women right into our pockets and get them out of bad situations, but every woman has to make her own journey. Julie: That's true. Nancy: But we can refresh and encourage and strengthen them along the way! Julie: Yes, indeed!
